i.About your tutor

A small, careful practice on the Gold Coast.

Your tutor · Gold Coast

3rd year double bachelors in psychological science and criminology and criminal justice.

Passionate about developmental and cognitive psychology, I understand how children learn — from memory and attention to behaviour and engagement. My philosophy is that every child deserves to feel confident in their learning, because education is the foundation for a brighter future!

iii.What we work on

Reading, numeracy, and the confidence underneath.

  • Reading

Decoding, fluency, comprehension. The small, daily wins that turn into reading levels.

  • Numeracy

Counting on, times tables, long division. Whatever the school’s working through that fortnight.

  • Spelling & writing

Sentence shape, paragraphs, the spelling list on the fridge.

  • Confidence

For kids who’ve decided they’re ‘bad at maths’. We chip away at that one quietly.

Not on the list? Mention it in your enquiry. If it’s primary curriculum, the answer is almost certainly yes.

ii.Short & sweet

How it works.

  1. I come to your home at your requested time.

  2. I bring lesson plans tailored to your child.

  3. I bring all the materials we'll need.

  4. I bring a rewards system — stickers and a prize box.

More detail comes back with your reply — every family is a little different.
